PRENTOX LARVA-LUR is a pesticide containing the active ingredient Propoxur (2-(2-ethoxyphenyl) methyl carbamate) at a concentration of 2.5%. It is formulated for the effective control of cockroaches, crickets, and ants. This product is intended for use by professional operators only and is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. The label specifies that it can be used in various settings, including homes, apartments, buildings, stores, restaurants, warehouses, government offices, public buildings, and institutions. When applying, users should target cracks and crevices where pests reside. The product can be applied as a spray or used in a dust form depending on the specific application method required. Handling precautions are critical: it is a carbamate, so users must avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; contact a physician or Poison Control Center immediately. Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and shoes with socks. Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing, smoking, or touching skin or clothing after handling. Environmental hazards include toxicity to fish, birds, and wildlife; do not contaminate water by cleaning equipment or disposal of equipment washwaters.
