AI Privacy Policy

Introduction

This policy covers how LuperIQ handles data when you use AI-powered features within the LuperIQ Wisdom plugin and any other LuperIQ modules that include AI workflows. It is separate from our main site privacy policy, which covers general website and account data.

If you use LuperIQ modules that do not involve AI workflows, your data never leaves your WordPress database. This policy applies only when you actively run an AI workflow or AI-assisted task.

What Data AI Features Process

When you run an AI workflow, LuperIQ collects and transmits only the data that is directly relevant to completing that task. Depending on the workflow, this may include:

  • Page content, post titles, and body text from your WordPress site
  • Page URLs and permalink structures
  • SEO metadata, including meta titles and descriptions
  • Keyword data and search term inputs you provide
  • Analytics summaries and performance data you have connected to LuperIQ
  • Your license key and site identifier, used to authenticate the request

We do not transmit personal data about your customers, visitors, or end users as part of AI workflow processing. AI tasks are structured and scoped — they operate on your site's content and configuration data, not on data belonging to your customers.

How AI Data Is Used

Data sent during an AI workflow is used solely to complete the task you requested. It is not used to train AI models, is not sold to third parties, and is not used for advertising or profiling purposes.

AI workflows in LuperIQ are structured tasks with defined inputs and outputs — they are not open-ended chat interfaces. The data you send goes in, the result comes back, and that is the full scope of processing. Your data is not retained on LuperIQ servers after the task is complete.

Data Transmission and Security

All data transmitted between your WordPress site and LuperIQ servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Requests are authenticated using your site's license key, ensuring that only your authorized installation can submit workflows on your behalf.

LuperIQ servers are hosted on infrastructure that meets standard commercial security practices. We take reasonable precautions to protect data during transmission and server-side processing.

Data Retention

AI task results are returned directly to your WordPress dashboard and stored in your local WordPress database. You control that data and it remains on your site.

On the LuperIQ server side, AI workflow processing is ephemeral. We do not store the content you submit for processing after a task is completed. Logs may be retained for a limited period for debugging and abuse prevention purposes, but are not used for any other purpose and are purged on a rolling basis.

Third-Party AI Providers

LuperIQ may use third-party AI services to execute certain workflow tasks. When this occurs, the data required to complete your task is transmitted to that provider under their applicable terms and privacy policies. LuperIQ selects providers that operate under documented data handling commitments, and we do not permit providers to use your data for model training.

We do not publish a real-time list of every AI provider used, as these may change as we update and improve our infrastructure. If you have specific questions about which providers process your data, you can contact our AI support team.

Your Rights and Controls

You are in control of whether AI features are used. AI workflows only run when you initiate them. If you choose not to use AI features, no data from your site is ever sent to LuperIQ servers or third-party AI providers.

For non-AI LuperIQ modules, all data stays within your WordPress database at all times. The connection between your site and luperiq.com via your license key is used only for authentication and credit tracking — not for data collection.

You can stop using AI features at any time by simply not running AI workflows. If you cancel your subscription, your locally stored results and module data remain in your WordPress database and are not deleted by LuperIQ.

Credit and Usage Tracking

LuperIQ uses a credit system to track AI workflow usage per site. Each time an AI workflow runs, a credit is consumed and that consumption is recorded against your site's license. This tracking is used exclusively for billing and subscription management, handled via WooCommerce on luperiq.com. Usage records include the workflow type, timestamp, and credit amount — not the content of the task itself.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this page when our AI data practices change in a meaningful way. The last updated date at the bottom of this page reflects when the current version was published. Continued use of AI features after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If changes are significant, we will make a reasonable effort to notify active subscribers.
