Why We Built a New CMS
WordPress is a phenomenal platform. We built 37 modules for it. But after years of working with service businesses — HVAC companies, pest control operators, plumbers, electricians — we kept hitting the same walls: plugin conflicts, database bloat, security patches, and the constant overhead of keeping a LAMP stack healthy.
So we built something new. LuperIQ CMS is written entirely in Rust, uses an event-sourced architecture (no MySQL, no PostgreSQL — just an append-only write-ahead log), and ships with 28 core modules covering everything a service business needs: booking, invoicing, technician management, field operations, customer portals, and AI-powered content generation.
What Makes It Different
Event-sourced data. Every change is an immutable event. Full audit trail, instant rollback, and blazing-fast queries. The entire state of a site — pages, products, bookings, invoices — lives in a single binary file that can be backed up by copying one file.
28 built-in modules. No plugin marketplace to navigate. Booking, invoicing, technician dispatch, inspections, customer portal, email, forms, SEO, Theme Studio with 44 block types, mega navigation, and a visual layout builder — all included.
AI content engine. Built-in AI generates SEO-optimized pages, blog posts, and service descriptions using local models (Qwen3-14B) or cloud providers. Site Blueprint can scaffold an entire industry site — pages, blog posts, SEO meta — in minutes.
Industry-specific. Pre-built blueprints for pest control, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and restaurants. Each blueprint includes seed data, theme configuration, and content templates tailored to that industry.
