Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account or purchase a subscription, we collect your name, email address, website URL, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store full credit card numbers).

Website Data

When you install the LuperIQ Wisdom plugin on your WordPress site, we collect basic site information including your site URL, WordPress version, PHP version, and plugin version for compatibility and support purposes.

Google Services Data

When you connect your Google account through LuperIQ's Google Connector, we request access to the following Google services on your behalf:

  • Google Analytics (Read & Write): We access your Google Analytics data to display traffic reports, audience insights, and performance metrics within your WordPress dashboard. With your authorization, we may also create new GA4 properties and data streams for your website and inject the corresponding tracking code into your site.
  • Google Search Console (Read): We access your Search Console data to display search performance data, keyword rankings, indexing status, and crawl information within your WordPress dashboard.
  • Google Site Verification: We access Google's Site Verification API to verify domain ownership on your behalf, enabling automated Search Console setup for your website.
  • Google Ads (Read): If you choose to connect Google Ads, we access your advertising data to display campaign performance alongside your organic search data.

How Google Data Is Accessed

All Google API requests are made through LuperIQ's secure proxy server (api.luperiq.com). Your Google OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on our server and are used solely to make authorized API requests on your behalf. We do not share your Google data with any third parties.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on this site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Display analytics and search performance data in your WordPress dashboard
  • Create and manage Google Analytics properties and Search Console verification on your behalf
  • Process subscriptions and payments
  • Provide customer support
  • Send service-related notifications (billing reminders, feature updates)
  • Generate AI-powered SEO recommendations and content

We do not use your Google data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose other than providing LuperIQ's services to you.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Payment processing: Stripe processes your payment information under their own privacy policy.
  • AI services: When you use AI-powered features, anonymized prompts are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. No personally identifiable information is included in AI requests.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Your Google Analytics, Search Console, Site Verification, and Google Ads data is never shared with third parties. It is accessed solely to display information within your own WordPress dashboard.

Data Storage & Security

  • Google OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on our servers and are transmitted only over HTTPS.
  • Google data (analytics reports, search performance data) is fetched in real-time from Google's APIs and is not permanently stored on our servers. Temporary caching may occur to improve performance.
  • GA4 measurement IDs and Search Console verification tokens are stored in your WordPress site's database to enable tag injection and domain verification.
  • Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
  • All data transmission uses TLS/SSL encryption.

Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active and for 90 days after cancellation.
  • Google OAuth tokens: Deleted when you disconnect your Google account or cancel your LuperIQ subscription.
  • Google analytics/search data: Not permanently stored — fetched in real-time from Google APIs.
  • AI usage logs: Retained for 30 days for debugging and quality assurance, then deleted.
  • Comments: Retained indefinitely unless deletion is requested.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Delete your data: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Revoke Google access: Disconnect your Google account at any time from the Google Connector settings page in your WordPress dashboard, or from your Google Account permissions page.
  • Export your data: Request an export of your data in a portable format.
  • Opt out of communications: Unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.

Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Authentication: Login session cookies to keep you signed in.
  • Preferences: Screen display and UI preference cookies.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics (gtag.js) cookies to understand site usage. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google API Services User Data Policy

LuperIQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We only use Google data to provide and improve our services for you.
  • We do not transfer Google data to third parties except as necessary to provide our services, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger/acquisition with adequate data protection.
  • We do not use Google data for serving advertisements.
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google data except with your affirmative consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or when aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Third-Party Services

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on our website at least 30 days before they take effect.
